Field Work is here to share true stories in meaningful ways. We’ll start each new project by choosing the right form to tell the story, whether that’s live performance, oral history, audio documentary, or something else entirely.

Field Work was initiated by Col Cseke who works with a revolving group of amazing artists, story-tellers, writers, and performers.

Field Work is based on and gathering stories from Treaty 7 territory, home of the Blackfoot confederacy: Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, as well as the Stoney Nakoda  and Tsuut’ina nations. We acknowledge and appreciate the members of the Métis community, specifically the Métis Nation Region Three.
